• 2024 Golden Nail Award

    Objective
    To recognize businesses and organizations whose efforts in design, restoration, renovation and beautification enhance and improve the community in general and the commercial areas in particular.
    Criteria
    Must be a legal business in Monroe County. For new construction, the applicant must be the owner, partner or major shareholder of the business. For renovations, the applicant must be the developer or owner that makes the investment in the building that already exists. All improvements must meet necessary city or county code requirements. Improvements must have been completed within the awards calendar year. Businesses of Chamber Board of Directors are eligible for consideration. Businesses must be a member of the Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce in good standing.
    Judging Elements
    Businesses investment enhances the county’s economic and aesthetic future
    Judging Process
    Businesses will be notified that they have been nominated and will be asked to fill out and return an application. After reviewing all applications, a committee will determine if the applicant (s) meet the criteria and judging elements. A minimum of one member from the committee will do an on-site visit. The winner(s) will be announced at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner in January.
    Recognition
    Recognition in the program and a profile at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting Golden Nail Award to display in your place of business highlighted on the Chamber’s website as Award Recipient Recognition in the Chamber’s newsletter, and future marketing materials
    Timeline
    Nomination Deadline is January 5, 2025 Winner will be announced at the Chamber's Annual Meeting held January 17, 2025.
