More than a decade ago, the Rising Stars Recognition Program was established to celebrate academic excellence and inspire students to reach their full potential early in their academic journeys. Selected students enjoy a special luncheon away from school, where they receive a certificate of achievement and a meaningful gift, generously sponsored by a Chamber Member business, professional, or individual.
As part of the program, each student has the opportunity to nominate a teacher who has made the greatest impact on their personal and academic growth. The teacher with the most nominations from each grade level is honored at the school’s Honors Day program. These outstanding educators receive a certificate of recognition and a sponsored gift and have their names added to the prestigious Rising Stars Teacher Plaque displayed at their school.
